Another new Kitten!
To Kalele (Smartyboots Ukulele Lady) and Harry on Monday 12 December 2011, one little boy kitten by caesarean. A feisty, noisy, big kitten currently being fostered by his grandmother Tisa, whilst his mum swans around as though nothing has happened! So he has a very big, chubby two weeks older sister to cuddle and a "mum" who adores him and is keeping him clean and warm. Unfortunately she has not as much milk as before so we are having to keep him and his big sister topped up with bottles. This means one of us getting up every 3 hours day and night!
Pictures to follow, so keep an eye on the site.
New Kitten
To Harry and Tisa on 27th November: one very fat, beautuful baby girl kitten. Her eyes are just beginning to open, smudgy nose coming. We think she might be a seal point.
More Kitts
" To Jazz and Harry on 18th August 2011, five lovely big kittens, boys and girls. They are red point Siamese boys and tortie point Siamese girls, but of course we don't know the colours of the girls yet. These babies will be ready to leave their mummy in mid November at 13 weeks old. A couple of them are booked already so contact us soon if you are interested in a Smartyboots kitten. You can visit them and meet their mum and dad when they are 7 weeks old. Pics will follow very soon so keep an eye on the site."

ALL GONE!
All the ten kittens have gone, or are about to go, off to their new lives. They have been an absolute joy, full of life and fun and so confident and affectionate. We have already heard that they are settling in, ruling their new roosts and purring loudly for their loving new families.
So now we must wait for the new arrivals, the D Swahili litter, when Jazz has her red point boys and tortie point girls in mid August. She is already rather matronly, so will be huge like last time, when she had seven boys and a girl.
Watch this space for news and pics.
Just one left
Just one dear, affectionate little seal point boy left now as all the other nine are spoken for already. They are off to opposite ends of the country, as far as Cornwall and Scotland to lovely, loving homes; some to people who already have Smartyboots kittens and have come back for more! They are nearly 10 weeks old now and full of life and mischief. First vaccinations safely over and next ones due in 3 weeks, then a further week with their mums and then they will go bravely off!
We are now using Swahili names for our litters and these are the “B” and “C” litters,
Saba’s are registered as Smartyboots Baraka, Bwana Kidogo, Bahati Simba, Bubujiko and Behari Buluu.
Sita’s are Smartyboots Chui Liotiwa, Chiriku Mtoto, Chamchela, Chachari and Chakaramu.

1 Girl and 1 Boy Left
One boy and one girl still available from this hungry mob. Now nearly eight weeks old and little hooligans!

Waiting for Kalele's kittens arrival next week. Watch here for news.
Sita and Saba’s babies (Update)
“Sita and Saba’s babies are now nearly seven weeks old, very naughty, cuddly and lively and eating like horses. Roast chicken and tinned salmon are favourites and some are nibbling at biscuits. Ten kittens all hurtling about feels rather like living in a three ring circus and, as they have all discovered how to get into bed with us, there is no peace even at 2am (but we love it)!
We have seal tabbies, solid blue points and solid seal points, 4 boys and 6 girls. Look at Twitter to discover the drama of the lost kitten.”

Sita and Saba have babies!
Both Saba and Sita have had their babies, five each. Mummies and all the babies are doing well. Saba had hers on 30th March, they are huge, with eyes wide open after only 5 days, and Sita had smaller, sweet little April Fool babies! There are boys and girls in each litter and Saba definitely has some little seal points but hard to know what else yet. We think there are some tabby points there too. Harry is the proud daddy of 10 more kittens but he is treating the news with his usual insouciance. He turned up his nose at the proffered cigars and champagne but took a little roast chicken instead!

All Jazz’s lovely babies have left home now
All Jazz's beautiful kittens, Smartyboots Azizi, Asante, Askari, Amani, Adimika, Achari and Ashiki, are now happily ruling over their new homes and owners. They have gone to loving homes all over the country and we regularly get news from their besotted owners.
We hope to have some new babies in March, so watch this space for news of the patter of tiny paws.
Naughty but Cuddly 3 Kittens left
"Three gorgeous cuddly red point boys are still waiting for loving pet homes. They are healthy, lively and naughty and love playing, leaping on the furniture, watching TV, eating big chicken dinners and cuddling under our duvet with us. As you can see from these pictures they are handsome, sociable and enjoy the company of other cats as well as people. They are used to a busy household and barking dogs but they hate the hoover!"

Summer Kittens are now happily settled.
Yazzoo, Yum Yum, Yakkety Sax, Ying Tong, Ziggy Stardust, Zabadak, Zarzuela, Zippedydoodah and Zoot are very happily settled in their new loving pet homes now
