We had Brecon from a baby, she was a funny girl with rather an &quot;Eeyore&quot; outlook on life, but we all loved her. She had lovely walks on her favourite beach and in our woods on the weekend before she died, she had a happy life in a beautiful place and we remember her odd little ways with great pleasure. Bronte the collie misses her as much as we do.</span></font></p> </div> Sun, 16 Jan 2011 21:16:42 +0000 http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/fondly_remembered/brecon.html Brie as a pup http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/fondly_remembered/brie-as-a-pup.html <div class="article-thumbnail"> <img src="http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/_Media/brie_as_a_pup2.jpeg" alt="Brie as a pup" width="117" height="128" /> </div> <div></div> Tue, 01 Jun 2010 19:58:31 +0100 http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/fondly_remembered/brie-as-a-pup.html Kahlua with Calypso http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/fondly_remembered/kahlua.html <div class="article-thumbnail"> <img src="http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/_Media/kahlua_with_calypso2.jpeg" alt="Kahlua with Calypso" width="128" height="88" /> </div> <div><p><font face="Arial" size="4"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Kahlua was our first Siamese girl. She was one of Ross Mort-Williams' gorgeous cats Chaiross Vesta. He prided himself on his cat's milk chocolate points but as you can see from the picture Kahlua was more like a seal point. She did have the most beautifully shaped top of head though! </span></font></p> <p><font face="Arial" size="4"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Kahlua was our most laid back and relaxed cat, nothing upset her, she never hissed at other cats, never rushed anywhere and was a loving auntie to all the kittens. She never had babies herself sadly, as she would have been a great mummy. Kahlua once fell in the pond, she did a stately, unhurried &quot;catty paddle&quot; to the edge and slowly climbed out with hardly a hair out of place. Kahlua had a respiratory problem, we never got to the bottom of what was wrong despite numerous investigations. </span></font></p> <p><font face="Arial" size="4"><span style="font-size: 14px;">She died gently as she had lived, we found her in her heated bed with her paws prettily crossed, having gently slipped away at the age of only 6.</span></font></p> </div> Fri, 28 May 2010 14:38:04 +0100 http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/fondly_remembered/kahlua.html Sappho http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/fondly_remembered/sappho.html <div class="article-thumbnail"> <img src="http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/_Media/sappho.jpeg" alt="Sappho" width="128" height="96" /> </div> <div><p /> <p><font face="Arial" size="4"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Sappho was our friendly, outgoing lilac girl, a Haruan cat. She was the most sensible, gorgeous, energetic girl who loved nothing more than a ball thrown on the beach, to be dropped back onto our feet time and again. She adored children and we think she must have escaped from the garden to follow some children up into the woods one rainy November night; she was killed instantly by a lorry on the fast main road.</span></font></p> </div> Sat, 24 Apr 2010 09:08:44 +0100 http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/fondly_remembered/brhyer.html Brie http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/fondly_remembered/brie.html <div class="article-thumbnail"> <img src="http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/_Media/brie.jpeg" alt="Brie" width="128" height="96" /> </div> <div><p><font face="Arial" size="4"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Brie was a Clumber Spaniel, she came to us as a little bundle of white fur. We called her Brie because she was fat, soft and white! She once stole and ate a whole Brie on the beach from a nearby family’s picnic!  She was greedy, lazy, cuddly and very endearing. She started behaving oddly, we did not know why, and eventually she died of a brain tumour. This was what had caused the change in behaviour but we had not realised it.</span></font></p> </div> Sat, 24 Apr 2010 09:08:25 +0100 http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/fondly_remembered/brie.html Sappho Kahlua and Titian very dear girls http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/fondly_remembered/sappho_kahlua_and_titian_ve.html <div class="article-thumbnail"> <img src="http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/_Media/sappho_kahlua_and_titian_ve.jpeg" alt="Sappho Kahlua and Titian very dear girls" width="128" height="96" /> </div> <div></div> Fri, 28 Aug 2009 18:13:36 +0100 http://www.smartybootssiamesecats.co.uk/fondly_remembered/sappho_kahlua_and_titian_ve.html
